Our story
Founded in 1989 by Victor-Mills Warrington, a timber technologist born and raised in the scenic Winelands of Stellenbosch.
Before creating eco-friendly designs, Victor spent years windsurfing along South Africa’s coastlines. It was there he witnessed firsthand the damage caused by plastic pollution. From rescuing marine life entangled in debris to seeing beaches overwhelmed by waste, he was inspired to make a change. Today, as an avid fisherman, an environmental advocate and well-known owner and skipper of Dassen-Eiland Charters, that passion lives on through every piece of recycled furniture created.
Our Journey
We employ 20 people of all colour and creed. BEE does not exist with us. If you are willing and capable, we will employ and train you to join our happy family.
With more than a million units sold over 37 years, we pride ourselves with punctual response to quotes, quality workmanship, after sales service and communication.
Our designs have since found homes across the globe — in countries like England, Germany, Spain, Ireland, Holland, Botswana, Angola, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, and as far as Qatar, East African Islands and even Pofadder.
Vic Warrington the founder member of the company is also a well-known big game fisherman in the Cape and also owns “Dassen Big Game Fishing Charters”. His specialty is catching yellowfin, bluefin, bigeye tuna and the mighty black marlin. Take a look at the website below.
